I’m Abby ZIaja, Private Yoga & Meditation teacher
I first came to yoga in NYC in my early 20s. With a background in dance, I was drawn to a movement practice that helped me feel free and rooted in my body. Yoga quickly became this for me. I’ve also always struggled with anxiety and found the benefits of yoga to be so helpful.
I did my first teacher training in 2009 to dive deeper into my own practice, but soon realized how much I wanted to share this powerful practice with others. I loved teaching from the start. And continue to love it today.
As a teacher, I bring my extensive knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, and movement science, as well as the spritual and philosophical teachings of yoga into my sessions. Teaching in a private one-on-one setting allows me to know my clients needs, goals, and struggles and to construct every single session around those unique needs.
